Reduced flow rate and pressure

• Check the direction of rotation
• Check the state of wear of the pump
• Check that the pipes are not clogged
• Check for any leaks in the system

The pump does not distribute

• Lowering of the water table
• Check valve blocked
• Pump clogged by impurities

The pump starts and stops frequently

• Check operation of the check valve and the dimensions of the tank
• Check for any leaks in the system
• Check the pressure switch and the probes (if present)

The motor does not start

• Dry running, if an electronic control unit with this function is present
• Check that all the phases are present
• Check that the motor is live

The direction of rotation may be inverted only in three-phase pumps (therefore pumps powered at 400 volts). In single-phase pumps (230 volts) the motor always rotates in the correct direction. On three-phase motors, check the direction of rotation.
